This is the third swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi. PM Modi has taken oath as Prime Minister twice before. The only difference is that in the 2014 swearing-in, the Prime Minister had the support of 282 MPs. The Prime Minister had the support of 303 MPs at the 2019 swearing-in ceremony. The Prime Minister had the support of 292 MPs in the swearing-in ceremony of 2024. This time BJP alone has 240 MPs in NDA.

Before the swearing-in, PM Modi reached the War Memorial at around 11 am and paid tribute to the martyrs. After paying tribute to the martyrs, the Prime Minister discussed the formation of his cabinet. Sources have revealed that now MPs have started receiving calls from Rashtrapati Bhavan. In this, MPs of all NDA allies are getting calls.

Seven heads of state, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Nepalese PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jagannath, Maldives President Dr. Mohammad Muizzu, Seychelles Vice President Ahmed Afiq and Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay have been invited as special guests to Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.

This time it is heard that BJP has been the most powerful government. Because this cabinet also includes many such ministers who have been ministers in the last two terms. Chandrababu Naidu has no desire to become a minister at the Centre. Chandra Babu Naidu wanted to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. BJP has made Chandra Babu Naidu the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh by giving its support.
